Job Summary
Under the general direction of the Director of the Ed Doctorate program the student assistants responsibilities will include:
- Perform daytoday office tasks ranging from answering calls and greeting guests
- Work with and assist in various projects for the Ed Doctorate specializations.
- Assist in various reports:
- Quantitative and qualitative data collection
- Reporting writing such as development of literature reviews
- Processing necessary data and paperwork related to educational research and evaluation.
Minimum Qualifications
Ability to learn and perform assigned work; follow oral instructions; work cooperatively with faculty staff and other students; communicate effectively with all levels; and read and write English at a level appropriate to the position.
Required Qualifications
- Current student at CSUF and is enrolled/registered (fees paid) in a current regular semester as a new or continuing student.
- Student who has completed the prior semester (has not graduated) or who is registered for the subsequent semester.
- In good academic standing (not on academic probation continued probation academic dismissal).
- Student who is authorized to work in the United States and can provide employment eligibility documents.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Must have interest in educational research from k12 to college
Must be a competent writer
Must be able to uphold the utmost confidentiality with regard to evaluation projects
Excellent listening and followthrough skills
Must have strong computer skills (Word Outlook Excel PowerPoint)
Ability to communicate effectively with faculty students and representatives from outside organizations
Must be willing and capable of learning computer programs specific to data analysis
