Who we are looking for:
Are you the Parents As Teachers (PAT) Educator we have been looking for In this position you will be able to convey your passion for helping others by working with our youth! JRIs Parents As Teachers program works with parents from prenatal to kindergarten age to increase parent knowledge of early childhood development and improve parenting practice. Our staff perform family centered assessments and deliver a structured curriculum which emphasizes parentchild interaction development centered parenting and family wellbeing. As the PAT educator you will empower parents through education and resources to foster healthy family dynamic and support child development.
JRI provides the training so that:
- YOU will learn to provide home visiting/parent education services to eligible parents via in person or telehealth style visits.
- YOU will participate in group support services
- YOU will serve as a role model and give support and encouragement to parents and their families to help raise healthy children
- YOU will participate in community outreach and help families access services in their communities.
Bilingual a necessity for this open role!! We offer a bilingual bonus to any candidate who speaks reads and writes in Spanish!

Requirements:
- MUST BE BILINGUAL IN SPANISH (speaking reading and writing) for this open role.
- 12 years of professional or volunteer experience working with young children and families.
- Examples of qualifying experiences include:
- Early Childhood Education: Working in preschools daycare centers or early learning programs.
- Social Work or Family Support: Supporting families through social services or community organizations.
- Parent Coaching: Assisting parents in developing parenting skills through structured programs.
- Volunteer Work: Volunteering at schools libraries or programs like Head Start.
- Childcare Experience: Providing inhome childcare or babysitting with documented responsibilities related to child development.
- Valid Drivers license and reliable inspected and insured transportation.
