Required Qualifications
ALA accredited masters degree or international equivalent. Experience providing basic reference services using online databases catalogs etc. OR experience in the access services or circulation department of an academic or public library. Flexibility to adjust schedule for peak activity periods and emergencies. Ability to work collaboratively and collegially with library and campus colleagues.
Preferred Qualifications
Management or supervisory experience in the access services or circulation department of an academic or public library. Experience working with diverse cultures languages and communities. Proven ability to retrieve and analyze data assess operations and services and implement improvements. Familiarity with building maintenance procedures and controls. Familiarity with the ALA Code of Ethics copyright and open access best practices. Ability to work toward achieving tenure and promotion.
