Job Description
Training Date:
July 1 2025 (all staff) 8:30 am 3:00 pm with hour unpaid lunchNo School on Fridays
Starting Date: July 1 2025
Ending Date: July 31 2025
FUNDING:
Rate of Pay: $25.00 per hour with no benefits not to exceed a total of 79 hours
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability to communicate and work successfully with staff and all students
- Help prepare for activities in the classroom
- Familiarity with elementary interventions and Positive Behavioral Interventions & Support (PBIS)
- Support small group work according to levels of language acquisition and cognitive development
- Provide oneonone assistance when needed
- Walk students back and forth to designated areas for scheduled activities
- Provide clarification in native language when requested by classroom teacher
- Join students for breakfast and lunch
- Assist with arrival and dismissal of students.
- Assist in communication between student and teacher when needed.
- Attend field trips.
- May be assigned to more than one classroom.
- Perform any duties that may be assigned by the Administrator of Special Education.
This position subject to funding.
