Job Description

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation reliability and longevity of production equipment and facilities. This role focuses on minimizing downtime performing preventative maintenance and promptly addressing equipment failures to support uninterrupted production operations.

Your Role

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery equipment and facility systems.

  • Diagnose troubleshoot and repair mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

  • Monitor equipment performance and implement corrective actions to optimize efficiency.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities including repairs and inspections.

  • Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption.

  • Assist in installing new equipment and ensuring proper setup and functionality.

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all maintenance tasks.

  • Provide recommendations for equipment improvements and costsaving initiatives.

About You

  • Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery including electrical mechanical and hydraulic systems.

  • Strong understanding of maintenance processes tools and best practices.

  • Familiarity with PLC systems and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings schematics and manuals.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Basic computer skills to maintain digital records and utilize maintenance management software.

Experience

  • Minimum of 35 years of handson maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

  • Experience with preventive maintenance programs and practices.

Education

  • High school diploma or GED .

Licenses and Diplomas

  • Certification or technical training in maintenance industrial mechanics or a related field is preferred.

  • Valid drivers license.
