Job Description
SUMMARY

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for tracking all materials stock and equipment that is shipped.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Manage the products materials supplies outbound shipments and inbound shipments (via request only sent directly to the shipping office).
Collaborate and communicate with logistics team customer service representatives service providers and others involved in the shipment of products.
Track trace and update the status of outgoing shipments.
Ensure that each package/load get shipped correctly and timely.
Scan and sorts incoming and outgoing paperwork.
Receive and document materials for delivery or return.
Identify any missing information on picking tickets from sales and packing orders from pickers to correct before shipping or receiving.
Schedule all trucks for shipments and plan logistics to ensure timely delivery.
Accurately send shipments based on material packaging to ensure correct truck is used for pickup and delivery.
Order any supplies needed for shipping as needed.
Obtain quotes to ensure cost is within allowed pricing budget.
Maintain accurate documentation files of goods shipped and received for management reports.
Ensure that inventory is in house prior to printing ticket.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or equivalent.
2year minimum experience in similar role.
COMPETENCIES
Strong sense of time organization and urgency.
Able to work independently and within a team.
Ability to handle issues arising in shipping or inventory.
Exemplary customer care skills.
Good analytical and problemsolving skills.
Strong computer skills.
Detail orientated and multitasking skills.

Prolonged periods of sitting standing laptop use etc.
