Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Prototype Machinist & Fabricator to join our team in a fastpaced manufacturing and prototype environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of verifiable experience operating standard machinist tools and equipment. Additionally expertise in fabrication techniquesincluding welding forming and machiningusing steel stainless steel and aluminum is required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate safely within a production and machine shop environment.
- Collaborate closely with engineers on prototype designs and development projects.
- Utilize manual lathes milling machines grinders and other precision machining tools to produce highaccuracy components tooling and prototypes.
- Interpret blueprints sketches and verbal instructions to plan machining and fabrication sequences.
- Fabricate fixtures prototype models assemblies and production tools from steel stainless steel and aluminum.
- Support manufacturing by producing production parts prototypes and fixtures on schedule.
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
- Follow both written and verbal instructions effectively.
Requirements:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Proficiency in TIG/MIG welding of stainless steel and aluminum is a plus but not required.
