Job Description

The Recruiter is responsible for ensuring timely provider recruitment efforts to support GVHC. Responsible for sourcing new providers updating and posting job vacancies processing and screening applicants including entering applicant information preparing related reports for tracking purposes and retaining providers once they have started at GVHC. This individual is the first point of contact for receiving and screening applications working with management and leadership (both administrative and clinical) to draft jobrelated phone virtual and inperson interview questions and conducting interviews with qualified candidates.

Schedule is Monday Friday working 8:00am 5:00pm

Compensation: $78977.60 $82926.48 Annual Salary

Commission is offered for placements that meet the qualifications paid each quarter for qualified placement milestones timelines

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates effective communication and problemsolving skills.
  • Coordinates all talent management activities with all providers.
  • Seeks to recruit for permanent temporary and contracted providers using various resources available partners with managers medical directors and others to anticipate and meet the evolving needs of the health centers and to deliver best talent in the organization.
  • Sources highperformance candidates via multiple recruitment methods including but not limited to personal telephone and networking efforts contacting medical/dental resident programs and designated graduate schools.
  • Develop and execute a personal time management plan on a monthly basis to proactively work to meet organizational needs.
  • Forwards prescreened applications to medical directors managers and other stakeholders on a timely basis within 48hours of prescreening
  • Cognizant of existing staff & providers FTE status & makes suggestions regarding allocation across the organization (i.e. overstaffed/understaffed sites).
  • Informs other departments of provider onboarding to ensure new providers receive necessary equipment and supplies.
  • Reviews applications received on a daily basis to ensure effective screening based on job requirements.
  • Drafts lawful and jobrelated interview questions to narrow pool of applicants to those best qualified based on position requirements.
  • Assists with other Provider Staff Services functions or duties as needed which may include new hire orientation preparation of personnel files and packets assisting with training preparation or scheduling etc.
  • Consistently adheres to and/or exceeds GVHCs communication guidelines and expectations with patients peers applicants and supervisors.
  • Posts all open positions on appropriate internal and external electronic and nonelectronic media.
  • Represents GVHC at appropriate National & Regional healthcare job fairs.
  • Ensures candidates background meets requirements of job description.
  • Consistently ensures PRFs (Personnel Requisition Forms) and job descriptions are completed prior to posting an open position.
  • Attend job fairs representing the organization and highlighting the benefits of joining an FQHC.
  • Partner with management to anticipate the evolving needs of GVHC and to deliver best talent in the organization
  • Coordinate all interviews including itinerary as needed.
  • Coordinate all travel arrangements and assist the applicant with the completion of travel reimbursement forms as needed
  • Coordinate clinic tours in conjunction with Center Managers.
  • In collaboration with the Provider Staff Services management team draft provider employment agreements and ensure full .
  • Send copies of completed agreements to appropriate departments.
  • Responsible for retention using tracking log to input feedback and provide feedback to appropriate person/department.
  • Constant communication with recruitment agencies responsible for building strong client relationships by keeping close contact and follow through.
  • Develop effective and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Track recruitment and marketing results through various reports and maintain log of recruiting efforts.
  • Occasional travel required to sites job fairs and occasional overnight stay when traveling long distance.
  • Other duties and project as assigned.

Physical Demands

  • Lift up to 25 pounds occasionally and push up to 50 pounds (on wheels) on rare occasions.
  • Must be able to hear staff on the phone and those who are served inperson and speak clearly in order to communicate information to clients and staff.
  • Must have vision with or without lenses that is adequate to read memos a computer screen personnel forms and clinical and administrative documents.

Work Environment

The physical environment requires the employee to work indoors primarily in an office setting. The noise level inside is quiet to average. Use of general office equipment is required on a daily basis.

Education/Experience Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Medical/Dental/Behavioral Health recruitment and retention.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Word & Excel.
  • Meet deadlines and excellent followthrough.
  • Ability to excel in a fastpaced team environment.
  • Adapt quickly to change selfmotivated and ability to work independently.

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum one 1 year of relevant professional recruitment experience preferably in a high functioning environment.
