Job Summary:
Under general supervision designs builds implements monitors and maintains moderately complex to complex network systems that are global in scale. Works independently in an operational and design environment exercising sound judgement and collaborating with crossdiscipline workgroups. The ability to develop scalable network solutions that are deployable across the enterprise is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design create install and configure current network server systems and repair server hardware.
- Monitor maintain support and optimize all networked software and associated operating systems
- Use knowledge of server operating systems to help design and install internal and external networks.
- Perform remedial maintenance of file servers and network devices including the restoration or hardware and software.
- Test and evaluate network systems to ensure stability eliminate problems and make improvements.
- Perform troubleshooting to correct issues.
- Identify and recommend costeffective technology solutions.
- Assist in comparing vendors and costs to plan largescale system projects.
- Collaborate with IT Risk Management and Security to reduce business risk.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field OR equivalent experience
- 5 years relevant and progressive professional working experience with Cisco ACI Citrix VMware Dell servers and Microsoft technologies
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification is preferred
