Associated Students UCLA as a responsive studentcentered organization provides innovative and excellent services programs products and facilities for the entire UCLA community. ASUCLA was created when the campus first opened in 1919. Even in the early years ASUCLA meant student government student publications and student services such as a bookstore and cafeteria. Today ASUCLA has evolved into a fourpart organization. These four entities collectively make up the largest student association in the country. The four entities are: - Undergraduate Students Association elected representatives of the undergraduate student body.
- Graduate Students Association elected representatives of the graduate student body.
- Student Media this includes the Daily Bruin UCLARadio the Bruin Life Yearbook and seven different magazines.
- Services & Enterprises this division is designed to meet the everyday needs of students and the campus community. Major divisions include Student Union Event Services UCLA Restaurants UCLA Store UCLA Photography and Trademarks & Licensing.
Goals of Associated Students UCLA: Products To provide essential and convenient items that are easily accessible of high quality and low cost including but not limited to academic support food trademark merchandise and convenience products. In addition to continue evaluating the utility and convenience of all products to make improvements that will best serve the UCLA community.

Market Logistics Manager Manager: Starting Salary Range: $49875 $60000 Department: Market Summary of Key Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Market Division Manager works in tandem with the Customer Service Manager to be responsible for the Market stockroom including merchandise receipts and transfers organization inventory reconciliation as well as merchandise fixture/hardware storage. Aids Market Division Manager in ordering and maintaining stock levels. Maintains and enforces task management and productivity in both the stockroom and the salesfloor. Coordinates with Customer Service manager in overseeing Joe n Go coffee lounge back stock and cleanliness. Requires Serv Safe Certification (can be achieved on the job). Coordinates with receiving staff to ensure proper merchandise flow and organization. Coordinates with Outlying Logistics Manager to maintain stock levels in Hill Top North Campus Shop and South Campus Shop. Assists with customer service and in other areas of the Division and performs special assignments including (but not limited to) POS trouble shooting customer service and special events. Hours include evenings/weekends and variable shifts. Qualifications: Requires 4 years experience supervising and organizing a high volume merchandiseprocessing retail environment. Experience must demonstrate: effective handling of multiple priorities/deadlines and effective supervision of a large staff. Requires PC word processing/spreadsheet/database and retail systems proficiency. 2 years related college coursework required or the equivalent combination of education and experience. This position is included in the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) PULL NOTICE SYSTEM. ASUCLA will receive notices of any convictions for moving vehicle violations both on and off the job. Employment is contingent on the maintenance of a valid CA drivers license and good driving record as defined by the DMV and ASUCLA.
