Job Description
As a Sr. Cloud Engineer II youll assess the bestfit OCI services and help plan and execute the migration of onpremises environments to the cloud. Youll also monitor OCI releases and plan and execute relevant updates to infrastructure platform and DevSecOps environments.

What youll do:
- Responsible for the design and management of an organizations cloud systems applications policies and strategy.
- Evaluates and identifies the best cloud solutions for the organization.
- Develops and modifies scalable architecture to support applications and infrastructureasaservice (IAAS) and platformasaservice (PAAS) platforms.
- Ensures the security and compliance of cloud environments including data protection and privacy.
- Monitors and analyzes cloud infrastructure performance to identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Collaborates with crossfunctional teams to optimize cloudbased environments for performance scalability and costeffectiveness.
- Designs controls and processes that utilize available audit tools.
- Maintains uptodate and extensive knowledge of cloud products and technology.
What youll need to succeed:
- 7 years experience in cloud computing and extensive handson experience.
- A Bachelors degree
- An active DoD Secret Clearance.
- A current Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certification
- A current IAT Level II certification such as Security CE or CySA
- Ability to design and implement highly available scalable and secure cloud architectures.
- Advanced knowledge of IaC tools (Terraform CloudFormation) and best practices for managing infrastructure as code.
- Mastery of one or more major cloud providers (OCI AWS or Azure) including advanced services and features.
- Deep understanding of containerization technologies (Docker Kubernetes) and experience with container orchestration platforms.
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and practices including CI/CD and experience with DevSecOps tools.
