Job Description
The Department of Aerospace Engineering and Engineering Mechanics at The University of Texas at Austin seeks to develop a pool of candidates at the rank of lecturer or senior lecturer for possible temporary/professional track full or parttime positions to teach undergraduate and graduate courses. Positions are not available every semester and are contingent upon student enrollment and availability of funding. Appointments are usually made on a semesterbysemester basis though sometimes a yearlong appointment can be made. Positions are annually renewable contingent on funding and performance. Salary is dependent on position and qualifications.
Applicants for this position are expected to have a doctoral degree in engineering or equivalent and previous teaching experience is preferred. *In rare instances a Masters Degree with sufficient expertise and experience may qualify.
