Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Responsible for all plant electrical systems including but not limited to; programmable logic controllers variable frequency drives plant instrumentation & communication systems
- Develops and implements schedules for inspections upgrades calibrations and system maintenance
- Analyzes all electrical systems and support and effectively recommends improvements or changes to insure efficiency dependability and currency
- Performs PLC programming changes and modifications
- Manages timesheets schedules PTO and performance reviews of ETs
- Broad understanding of IT Infrastructure networking and IP structures
- Updates equipment documentation and controls distribution of prints and other documents needed for troubleshooting and repair of critical plant equipment.
- Ensures that all statutory codes national and local are applied or followed and continually analyzes code requirements and updates equipment and procedures to ensure compliance
- Implement PLC and/or HMI programming changes as necessary to ensure optimization of equipment
- Performs other duties as deemed necessary.
- Adheres to housekeeping and safety standards including the required use of personal protective equipment
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:
- Able to climb in overhead structures to work beneath machines and in close quarters performing analysis and repair work
- Bend stand for extended periods of time and withstand exposure to heat and cold temperature
- Must be able to perform work at heights
- Must be able to pass physical requirements
- Ability to lift 30 60 pounds
Education and Experience
- Associates degree trade school or equivalent 35 in electrical/electronic maintenance in manufacturing setting work experience (Bachelors degree preferred)
- Minimum 3 5 years maintenance experience in manufacturing setting
- Thorough Knowledge with Lock Out/ Tag Out
- 35 years of high voltage experience up to 34.5KV (preferred) 480V Mandatory
- PLC experience (Rockwell Preferred)
- Logic Control Level experience with Allen Bradley PLC HMI Drives etc. including Software
- Thorough knowledge of electrical theory and principles properties of materials and principles
