Exciting Opportunity: Regional Revenue Manager at Hotel Management and Consulting!
About the Role: Hotel Management & Consulting is seeking a Regional Revenue Manager that will be responsible for monitoring managing and maintaining extended stay and nightly strategies to ensure the most effective and efficient balance between demand and availability as part of our continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.Candidates must have Marriott experience.

Primary Duties:
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with vendors
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy through regular oversight
  • Develop and implement longterm rate strategies for their portfolio
  • Collaborate with General Managers (GMs) and District Managers (DMs) to communicate strategic changes
  • Assess sales leads establish negotiated rates and conduct displacement analyses.
  • Lead and facilitate regional conference calls
  • Fulfill ad hoc reporting requests as needed
  • Manage and maintain extended stay and nightly inventory controls including but not limited to room accommodation and rate inventory controls sell limit controls group inventory and cutoff dates implementation of blackout dates maintaining demand information and managing sellout strategies in partnership with Front Office.
  • Manage all aspects of rate & inventory management by ensuring that rates and availability are open and closed per policy and procedures.
  • Coordinate the yield management process and manage the property management system on a daily basis.
  • Monitor the pricing of competitors and understand the dynamics of the local market and its demand generators/special events.
  • Continually monitor all pertinent travelrelated websites to ensure competitiveness in both availability and price
  • Conduct ongoing competitor price and product analyses to ensure proper rate positioning and product offering relative to competition. Actively participate in all pricing decisions for nightly weekly and 28day segments.
  • Implement monitor and adjust sales and pricing strategies
  • Reporting to VP of Revenue you will be responsible for supporting Revenue Management strategies by completing complex adhoc analyses to proactively identify business opportunities while leveraging advanced analytics tools and technology.
  • Manages rates and minimum stays in all distribution channels to ensure pricing adjustments are being optimized across all marketing sources. Execute and evaluate strategic pricing decisions by market segment and channel to maximize revenues for assigned portfolio.
  • Review and provide analysis of weekly and monthly STR reports.
  • Provide critical analysis of strategies room statistics and demand factors
  • Independently implements appropriate hotel inventory distribution strategy; maintains accurate rates and inventory allotments in the IDS/GDS/CRO and property PMS in a timely manner to promote rate parity throughout all booking channels.
  • Analyzes independently and determines whether a hotel is effectively marketing itself across electronic distribution channels.
  • Assisting in creating/maintaining promotional campaigns to generate business.
  • Track customer trends and reservations and communicate with sales teams to gather sales figures.
  • Other Duties as Assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Candidate must have Marriott experience.
  • Candidate should have a Bachelors degree in Business or other related field.
  • Candidate should have 12 years of successful revenue management experience at a multiproperty level.
  • Experience in hotel revenue management is important to the success of this role.
  • Candidate must have excellent analytical skills and must fully comprehend the travel industry distribution landscape. This includes third party channels GDS central reservation systems and property management systems.
  • Candidate must have strong verbal and interpersonal skills are imperative as the candidate will interact remotely with hotels interact frequently with corporate brand representation and will coach direct reports on revenue management best practices.
  • Candidate must be able to effectively communicate ideas in verbal and written presentations.
  • Candidate must have strong time management skills and ability to prioritize work.
  • Candidate must have strong Microsoft Office skills specifically Excel. Power BI experience a plus.
Physical Requirements:
  • Frequently required to sit stand talk and hear.
  • This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies up to 20 pounds.
