Join Our Warehouse Team as a Plant & Equipment Officer at SE Distribution!
SE Distribution is seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Plant & Equipment Officer to join our growing team at our Condell Park location.
As part of our Warehouse team you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our plant and equipment maintenance as well as supporting daytoday warehouse activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized and proactive individual who is looking to make a difference in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plant & Equipment Maintenance:
- Manage the plant and equipment hire database ensuring all equipment is maintained and in good working order
- Organize the repair servicing and calibration of plant and equipment liaising with internal and external service providers
- Coordinate the hire and return of plant and equipment across all sites
- Assist with warehouse stocktakes and inventory reconciliation
Warehouse Operations:
- Perform general warehousing duties including picking packing loading and unloading goods
- Operate a forklift daily and assist with daily delivery runs
- Handle receipt and dispatch of goods ensuring accurate deliveries by liaising with site staff
- Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment
- Perform driving duties as required
Customer Service:
- Communicate professionally and courteously with customers management and colleagues
- Represent the company in a positive manner maintaining personal hygiene and professional appearance at all times
Work Health & Safety (WH&S):
- Adhere to all WH&S procedures to ensure a safe workplace environment
- Take responsibility for personal safety onsite and follow company safety protocols
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse operations
- Proficient in general warehouse duties including forklift operation
- Ability to manage plant and equipment hire processes and maintain accurate records
- Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with various stakeholders
- Comfortable with manual handling (up to 20kg)
- General computer skills and experience using databases (Sage Hirepos Accpac)
- Current drivers license (essential)
- Forklift Licence is essential
