Job Description

St. Patrick Catholic School in Brighton Michigan is accepting applications for a FullTime Certified Academic Resource Teacher position for theschool year. Applicants must have a current State of Michigan Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education (K5 all subjects/ 68 selfcontained). Experience in academic intervention teacher coaching and leadership and extensive subjectarea knowledge in both literacy and math is preferred. Advanced degree in Special Education is also preferred but not required.

Applicants must be a practicing Catholic who is committed to fostering a childs relationship with God while promoting academic excellence in a 21st Century classroom. In addition candidates must possess strong communication skills a willingness to work as a part of a team the ability to use technology in a classroom setting and a solid understanding of classroom management.

All candidates will need to pass a criminal background check with fingerprints and participation in the VIRTUS program or proof of such participation will be required.
