Client Manager / Senior Accountant
Location: Manchester
Salary: per annum (DOE)

Are you an experienced Senior Accountant or Client Manager looking for your next challenge Our client a wellestablished and forwardthinking accountancy firm in Manchester is expanding its team and is looking for a motivated Client Manager / Senior Accountant to play a key role in managing client relationships overseeing a portfolio of businesses and driving strategic growth.

The Role
As a Client Manager / Senior Accountant you will be responsible for delivering highquality accountancy services while building and maintaining strong client relationships. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing a portfolio of clients acting as their main point of contact for all accounting and business advisory needs
- Reviewing and preparing statutory accounts tax returns and management accounts for a variety of businesses ensuring compliance with UK accounting standards and tax regulations
- Supervising and mentoring a team of accountants and trainees providing guidance and technical support
- Identifying advisory opportunities for clients such as tax planning business restructuring and financial forecasting
- Supporting business development activities including attending networking events and working on strategic initiatives to expand the firms client base
- Keeping up to date with legislation and industry changes ensuring clients receive the best possible advice
The Ideal Candidate
To be successful in this role you should have:
ACA or ACCA qualification (or equivalent)
Proven experience in a clientfacing role within an accountancy practice
Strong knowledge of UK accounting and tax regulations
Excellent leadership skills with experience supervising and mentoring junior staff
The ability to work proactively and manage multiple clients effectively
A passion for providing exceptional client service and contributing to the firms continued growth
