Caregiver

Description of the role:

The certified caregiver at Comfort Keepers in Southern Pines North Carolina will be responsible for providing quality compassionate care to clients in their homes. The caregiver will assist with daily living activities following the plan of care and ensure the wellbeing of each client.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care tasks
• Plan and prepare meals for clients appointment transport
• Assist with medication reminders as needed
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Keep accurate records of care provided

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a caregiving role 6mo1yr companion or skilled
• PCA and CNA skill levels also desired
• Strong communication skills Ability to work independently
• Valid Drivers license and car insurance
• Willing to submit to background and Drug screens
• Compassionate and empathetic nature
