Job Description
Our Opportunity:
We at Chewy are looking for a highly motivated and analytical Financial Analyst to join our rapidly growing Healthcare Finance team! In this role youll blend financial knowledge with practical experience in analyzing financial statements and datadriven decisionmaking to support strategic initiatives drive Chewy Healthcares growth and meet financial objectives.
What Youll Do:
- Aid in developing reporting systems and performance management frameworks while defining key metrics and performance indicators to assess overall business success.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teamsincluding Finance Healthcare Merchandising Product Marketing Supply Chain and Accountingto gain a complete understanding of the business its customers and operations.
- Effectively engage in target setting and the annual/quarterly planning processes.
- Own the monthly close process to ensure that all financial records are maintained accurately according to Chewys policies and procedures.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently in a fastpaced environment.
What Youll Need:
- A BA/BS degree in Finance Accounting Business Management or Economics.
- 01 year of relevant finance experience with a basic understanding of GAAP and financial statements.
- Strong financial analysis and modeling skills with experience in forecasting budgeting reporting and variance analysis.
- Proficiency in Excel (including functions like VLOOKUP and pivot tables) and PowerPoint.
- Experience with SQL coding Hyperion Smartview Tableau or Oracle ERP is a plus.
- The ability to think creatively work both independently and collaboratively tackle problems with limited resources and meet deadlines.
- Flexibility in adapting to ambiguity and changing priorities.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
