This Technician role in Boise ID values your skills in fixing installing updating and modifying hardware and software. Join a collaborative team committed to excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble configure and fix PCs and servers to ensure flawless operation.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to set up and modify test platforms using interposers or ball grid array (BGA) sockets.
- Provide outstanding support by resolving technical issues promptly and efficiently.
- Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in nonfunctioning electromechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process
- Dismantles adjusts repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans blueprints operating or repair manuals rough sketches or drawings
- Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.
- Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven expertise in hardware firmware and software understanding is helpful but not required.
- Knowledge of Micron Modules is an asset but not mandatory.
- Ability to work 12hour shifts on days or nights including some weekends.
- Excellent collaboration problemsolving and analytical skills.
- A new perspective that embraces continuous improvement for our processes or products.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Twoyear industry related associates degree; working towards a STEM related degree; or equivalent military training and experience
- Knowledge in computer systems and/or DRAM operation.
- Demonstrated ability to work strictly within industry standards and protocols to ensure system compatibility.
- Prior experience using logic analyzers and oscilloscopes to collect and analyze data preferred.
- Experience in a similar role within a fastpaced and competitive environment is advantageous.
