Position Summary

The MassDOT Chief Safety Officer addresses the overall safety issues relating to transportation.The office is responsible for ensuringa safe and healthy environment for all employees passengers and the public in all modes of transportation including rail bus commuter railparatransit and highway. Coordination with other state agencies elected officials nonprofits and municipalities is an essential part of the work done here. The goal of the Safety Team is to identify hazards and implement risk reduction strategies. This position will be responsible for supporting 13 Deputy Chief Safety Officers with a focus on collecting data performing trend analysis and being part of a team that develops a strategic vision for safety.

Work Schedule

You will be in person at 10 Park Plaza MTh with an option to be remote on Fridays.

You can work up to 37.5 hours a week per your schedule but we are looking for candidates who can work a minimum of 15 hours/week.
