You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe successful candidate will provide fulltime clinical medical physics coverage with a focus on clinical physics and treatment planning. Routine duties include but are not limited to regular clinical physics coverage participation in commissioning upgrade repair acceptance testing monthly and annual QA of treatment equipment. Position responsibilities also include clinical trouble shooting initial and weekly chart checks and other routine clinical physics responsibilities. Treatment planning responsibilities include but are not limited to external beam treatment planning including 3D IMRT SBRT SRS and VMAT to a wide range of treatment sites. The individual will be encouraged to participate in developmental efforts on various clinical physics projects and ACR accreditation consistent with the needs of the Department.
Candidates must have either a M.S. or Ph.D. in Physics Medical Physics or related field and be board eligible in therapeutic medical physics from the American Board of Radiology (ABR). A minimum of two years of clinical experience is required. Experience with treatment planning is preferred.Recent graduates from residencies are welcome to apply.
