About The Opportunity
As a Senior Accountant you will play a crucial role in managing financial records ensuring compliance and providing valuable insights to clients. Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Manage a portfolio of clients
- Management and support of junior and intermediate accountants
- Annual tax planning and provision of creative and lawful advice around taxstructuring and minimisation
- Complete oversight of annual compliance and advisory work for a range of business clients and high wealth groups including review of BASs annual financial statements and income tax returns for companies trusts partnerships individuals and selfmanaged superannuation funds
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- CA or CPA qualified
- Experience with business accounting software particularly Xero
- A minimum of 5 years postqualified experience in an Australian public practice
- Experience engaging with clients and reviewing and managing the work of others
- Candidates who are able to bring an existing portfolio of clients with them will be considered favourably
- An exceptional candidate currently working in an accounting role may be considered for this step up into a senior position
