The successful candidate will bring a deep understanding of electrical systems building codes and construction technologies to deliver highquality technically sound designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Engineering & Design: Develop and integrate electrical systems into comprehensive building designs ensuring compliance with all applicable codes standards and jurisdictional requirements.
- Technical Development: Conduct engineering calculations material research and system evaluations to optimize performance and efficiency.
- Project : Prepare detailed drawings specifications and technical documentation using AutoCAD Revit MEP and other industryleading software.
- Site & Field Assessments: Perform site evaluations zoning reviews and field surveys to document existing conditions and support project .
- Quality Assurance: Review shop drawings technical submittals and project deliverables to ensure alignment with specifications safety codes and engineering best practices.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education & Accreditation: A postsecondary degree in Electrical Engineering; P.Eng. designation or eligibility for professional registration is preferred.
- Industry Expertise: 612years of experience designing electrical systems for diverse building projects including commercial residential institutional or industrial sectors.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD Revit MEP and electrical engineering modeling software.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong familiarity with building codes electrical standards and architectural coordination.
