LK Jordan is seeking a temporary Recruiter for a local nonprofit organization in the downtown area. Schedule is Monday Friday from 8am5pm. Pay rate is $30.12. This position is anticipated to last for the next 4 months.
Job Description:
Collaborates with hiring managers to fill vacant positions ensuring timely movement through screening interviewing testing and selection processes.
Develops recruitment plans with HR and department representatives outlining ideal candidate qualifications timelines and marketing strategies.
Posts job openings on various job boards and coordinates with Public Affairs to promote positions on social media platforms like LinkedIn.
Completes EEOC and other relevant reports on employee headcounts demographics and wages.
Manages staffing requests to temporary staffing agencies reviews resumes and coordinates interviews and start dates for temporary employees.
Maintains staffing reports and evaluates the recruitment process to ensure efficiency.
Prepares and maintains applicant tracking data and develops a pool of qualified candidates.
Participates in weekly recruitment meetings to assess and adjust recruitment plans and strategies.
Screens applicants based on qualifications including work history education and skills.
Prepares offer letters recruitment forms and background check packets and ensures new hires are successfully onboarded.
Represents the organization at job and career fairs and arranges interviews or travel for selected candidates.
Negotiates and extends offers of employment ensuring all documentation is accurate.
Assists in posting positions on the organizations website and ensures job descriptions align with pay classifications.
Collaborates with data governance roles to ensure compliance with organizational data policies.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources Management Business Administration or a related field.
Four 4 years experience as an employment recruiter or experience in advising management in assessing employment needs and identifying the best candidates for a job.
Successful completion of a criminal history background check and a drug screening test.
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
Able to communicate in both English and Spanish preferred.
