Job Description
We are seeking a talented passionate dedicated Sr. Chemist Formulator for one of our portfolio companies a fastgrowing startup clean beauty brand. In this role youll work closely with our founder to develop cuttingedge clean beauty bath and body products. The ideal candidate is passionate about clean beauty and will work to find ways to make effective products with organic sustainable ingredients.
In this role you will:
- Work with our founder and our contracted lab on the formulation of all types of clean bath and body productsincluding but not limited to creams lotions balms soaps sprays and body oils.
- Work to create small batches of our product for testing and distribution.
- Work to stay on top of clean beauty trends cuttingedge formulation techniques and new ingredients.
- Advise on new product ideas based on customer feedback. Work independently to test and develop new products. Serve as a consultant on all things related to product development and design.
- Responsible for determining product specifications and expiration dates.
- Responsible for challenging our manufacturing to ensure that all products meet our quality standards.
- Responsible for monitoring and releasing firsttime manufacturing batches.
