Medical Assistant Cardiac Amyloidosis Program

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Cardiac Amyloidosis Program. This role is ideal for someone interested in both clinical and research experience. Responsibilities will include assisting with patient care in the outpatient setting obtaining vital signs and blood draws utilizing the electronic medical record telephone screening and scheduling organizing patient data and indexing of documentation for the amyloidosis program as well as the advanced heart failure programs.

The position also provides an opportunity to assist in special projects related to early identification and treatment of patients with amyloidosis. The motivated and detailoriented individual can also be involved in research studies and publications within this field. The position provides an opportunity to work directly with patients physicians and research staff in a collaborative academic medical environment and may be well suited for someone wanting these experiences before applying to medical or graduate school.

Applicable Experience:

Less than 1 year

Basic Life Support American Heart Association or Red Cross
