Job Description
Job Goal: To provide support for students and staff with drug and alcohol education prevention intervention and consultation.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor preferred
Responsibilities:
- Design and facilitate at least Focus on a variety of alcohol and other drug related topics.
- Oversee a student runtaskforce addressing and enforcing school AOD policies.
- Provide psychoeducation and individualized support services.
- Connect to internal (SPS) or any external resources/support services.
- Administer D/A evaluations and provide written report with risk level and recommendations.
- Provide individualized student support to Student Services as well as internal and external referrals.
- CoSupervise weekly community service group; feeding the homeless.
- Friday afternoons 2:30pm 6:30pm
- Design and conduct several weekly groups focused on a variety of alcohol and other drugrelated topics including (a) overseeing studentrun taskforce (addressing and enforcing school AOD policies) and (b) processing and psychoeducational groups.
- 4 Groups a week:
- 2 Next Wave grades 68 1 morning 1 afternoon)
- 2 Full Circle grades 912 1 morning 1 afternoon)

Terms of Employment:
- Part Time
- Schedule will be based on aschool year schedule (August June)
- Maximum of 19.5 work hours per week
- $30 per hour worked
