JobDescription:
Independently perform routine preventative maintenance andservice on small tonnage HVAC equipment (up to 10 tons). Responsible selfstarters who take theinitiative to learn new skills by taking advantage of online and classroomtraining using advanced diagnostic tools and working with senior techs. In addition to having a strong mechanical aptitudeyou must be able to communicate clearly have a positive and cando attitudeare a good team player and smile.
EssentialDuties:
- Perform routine preventative maintenance anddiagnose and repair on equipment up to 10 tons in capacity.
- Assist Senior Techs on more complex equipmentincluding boilers cooling towers chillers etc.
- Accurately document and communicate workperformed.
ExperienceRequired:
- Demonstrate fundamental understanding ofrefrigeration cycle refrigerant charging refrigerant recovery superheatsubcooling electrical theory and basic HVAC controls.
- Works on common HVAC applications such as gasheating hydronic heating rooftop package HVAC equipment split system HVACequipment ductless split and VRF equipment WSHP equipment etc.
- Demonstrate proficiency in electrical andmechanical troubleshooting.
- Demonstrates a desire to grow professionallyin the HVAC/R trade. Willingness andappetite to learn.
- Strong customer service ethic.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Clean driving record.
Salary $24 $35 per hour
