Promotes mental health and wellbeing by providing prevention and intervention strategies to youth and families in primary care clinics. Provides brief interventions for mild symptoms of common mental health problems under the supervision of a licensed clinician including coordinating and supporting the behavioral healthcare needs of patients requiring higher levels of care.
Essential Functions:- Offers psychoeducation about mental health treatment for youth and families.
- Supports licensed clinical providers in the assessment and mental health screening of children and youth.
- Assists specialist providers with using measurebased care strategies for coordinating care at the direction of the licensed clinician. Completes required charting and clinical documentation in accordance with program standards.
- Systematically tracks and monitors patient caseloads.
- Collaborates to implement a treatment plan under the supervision of a licensed clinician. Completes physical outreach in the community as clinically indicated.
- Provides shortterm support to assist with stressors level of risk and intervention progress during care with specialist providers.
Education Requirement:High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Licensure Requirement:Valid Ohio drivers license and proof of auto insurance as required by hospital policy. Must pass motor vehicle background inspection insurance eligibility driving qualifications and training set forth by Nationwide Childrens Hospital and maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.
Certifications:QBHS certification to be obtained posthire required.
