We are seeking a talented individual to join our NSI Operations Level 1 team at Marsh McLennan (MMC).
This role will be based in Cluj Romania. Marsh McLennan has established its
EMEA Technology Hub in Cluj reflecting our commitment to innovation and excellence. This hub is central to our digital strategy addressing emerging challenges and enhancing service delivery through advanced technology solutions that empower our clients and promote sustainable growth.
As a Level 1 Support Senior Specialist you will be responsible for providing technical escalation in a 7x24x365 Operations L1 team leveraging various operations management tools. You will play a crucial role in increasing system stability and expanding the groups services in System Hosting Network Operations and Cyber Security Operations.
We will count on you to:
Provide continuous and consistent management reporting on the status of issues actions and resolutions;
Manage severity 1 incident calls and report to appropriate management and teams;
Provide technical support for all systems and applications hosted in the Cloud ensuring compliance with defined business service levels for Network Server and Cyber Security;
Maintain patching compliance to avoid risks of system outages or compromised data;
Communicate effectively with globally diverse audiences through oral and written communication;
Assist with operational and infrastructurerelated projects for server network and cyber initiatives;
What you need to have:
Associates degree in computer or network science or related field from an accredited college/university or equivalent combination of education training and experience;
25 years of handson experience in a technical infrastructure operations/Cloud environment;
Technical experience in network support (Cisco PaloAlto Aruba F5 etc. and server OS support (Windows Linux Container Support);
Knowledge of ticketing systems and monitoring applications with experience in Change Control Ticketing and Incident Reporting (ServiceNow experience a plus);
Availability for Shift : Wednesday through Saturday 10 hours) #4workingdaysweek
