Job Description
Do you love working in a state of the art bakery committed to producing perfect breads & pastries
Are you a selfdriven creative individual who takes pride in their craft
We are looking for YOU to join us at our new bakery in Salem MA.
This is a fulltime position with great growth opportunities.
As a bakery/pastry chef you will work as part of a team to produce the highest quality products.
Have the skills and ability as a baker to:
- Make base doughs such as laminated brioche muffin/scone pie/tart etc)
- Making & assembling cakes
- Shaping breads & bagels
- Making & decorating donuts
- Making frostings & glazings
- Be able to consistently follow recipes and scale up or down as needed while noticing issues/mistakes
- Stovetop production
- Oven production
- Cleaning & closing kitchen
- Lifting up to 60lbs
- Operate commercial size mixers dishwasher sheeter and ovens.
- Ask for help or direction when needed
- Troubleshoot quickly and calmly
- Work in an organized and clean manner
- Be able to stay active and handle the physical requirements of the job
