Job Description

Ad 1. Work with the Regional Sales Manager on maintaining and growing a sustainable and profitable business with customers in the region from planning to

  • Ensure our products and technologies are understood by customers and our business partners (e.g. distributors) while providing solution to our customers on technical and business aspects.
  • Identify generate and develop new personal care accounts for market expansion and sales growth.
  • Create develop and maintain a healthy and positive business rapport with existing and new customers managers technical supervisors purchasing managers and chemists
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities at existing and new customers while maintaining an uptodate record in Salesforce
  • Ensure that yearly targeted contribution margin and operating profit results are achieved.
  • Work with cross functional team in Production Technology Marketing Customer service and Supply Chain and ensure that goals are aligned and issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Report and present market and customer insights as well as business intelligence with the team.
  • Contribute effort on improvement of Working Capital by bridging customers demand and Supply Chain team through forecast planning.
  • Ensure that customer information meetings and agreements are recorded properly in time in full in Salesforce
  • Analyze sales trend contributing product range etc. with the given tools Tableau and present it in monthly report with details on accounts activities.

Ad 2. Maintaining and growing relationship with MNCs and local big accounts work with Regional Sales Manager in capturing new market and business opportunities:

Work with Regional Sales Manager in coordinating key accounts activities (GKA & India KA) regionally in alignment with GKAM objectives; develop business plans to capture new business opportunities while growing the existing business.

  • Develop new personal care accounts while servicing existing Tier1 & Tier2 accounts (i.e. local key accounts) for business opportunities and sales growth VCP strategy.
  • Maintain good relationships with multiple contacts within each key accounts organization (GKA & India KA).
  • Identify and plan for future route to market for margin improvement.

Ad 3. Work with Regional Sales Manager to identify and deliver NBOs and priorities of Personal Care BU

  • Clarify and validate customer needs (technical commercial etc) on an ongoing basis
  • Obtain and evaluate feedback on samples and technologies on a regular basis
  • Identify NBOs: uncover and quantify growth opportunities (and risks) for Elementis products to drive sustainable and profitable growth for Elementis together with Marketing Technical Sales and Technical Service.
  • Collaborate with Personal Care Team in the ceation of new business opportunities (Skin & Sun care Cosmetics AP Actives and others) while delivering values of our products to customers (e.g. replication of success from different region with Technical Application support on formulation improvement etc..

Ad 4. Developing new markets and applications based on existing product portfolio to aline with VCP strategy

  • Be vigilant on the dynamic changes of Personal Care market trend in the region validate demand and opportunities thus identify and generate new business opporturnities through cross functional team collaboration (e.g. with Marketing and Technical Application).
  • Awareness on existing product competition in different applications identify Elementis strength and opportunities for further growth according to VCP strategy
  • Explore technical barriers from customers work with technical team and technical sales to develop Elementis solutions; including skin care HI&I hair care markets;

Additional Job Description

Functional

  • Bachelor or Masters degree in Sciences Applied Sciences or equivalent
  • Minimum of 810 years experience in B2B sales management
  • Good technical knowledge of and experience in the Personal Care industry knowledge of Skin care Household and Agrochemicals for Consumer markets is a plus
  • Proven track record in developing and growing business together with sales team
  • Fluent in English any other language is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills communication and presentation skills
