Job Description
ExperienceProven experience in database administration and migration with a strong focus on Oracle PostgreSQL and MSSQL databases.Extensive experience with onpremises to onpremises and onpremises to cloud migrations.Experience in heterogeneous database migration particularly between Oracle PostgreSQL and MSSQL.Tools & TechnologiesProficient in using database migration tools such as AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) Ora2Pg and Striim.Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure Google Cloud) and their database services.Skills:Strong understanding of database schemas structures and query optimization.Excellent problemsolving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve migrationrelated issues.Strong communication and documentation skills to articulate migration strategies and outcomes to stakeholders.Certifications:Relevant certifications in Oracle PostgreSQL MSSQL or cloud platforms (AWS Certified Database Specialty Azure Database Administrator etc. are a plus.
