partner staffing on behalf of our Client we areseeking a highly motivated Mechanical Project Manager to oversee the planningexecution and successful delivery of mechanical systems HVAC Plumbing andFire in commercial institutional mixuse and industrial building projects.This role requires strong leadership technical expertise and excellentproject management skills to ensure projects are completed on time withinscope and on budget.
Requirements
on behalf of our Client we are seeking a highly motivated Mechanical ProjectManager to oversee the planning and successful delivery ofmechanical systems HVAC Plumbing and Fire in commercial institutionalmixuse and industrial building projects. This role requires strong leadershiptechnical expertise and excellent project management skills to ensure projectsare completed on time within scope and on budget.
KeyResponsibilities:
- Manageendtoend project lifecycle for mechanical systems including HVAC plumbingand fire protection in commercial institutional industrial and mixeduse building projects.
- Collaboratewith architects engineers contractors and clients to define project scopeobjectives and deliverables
- Developand maintain detailed project plans schedules budgets and resourceallocations.
- Ensuremechanical designs comply with local building codes standards and sustainablebuilding practices.
- Monitorproject progress identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Leadregular project meetings to update stakeholders and address project challenges.
- Overseeprocurement of materials and equipment ensuring costeffectiveness and timelydelivery.
- Reviewtechnical drawings specifications and submittals for accuracy and qualityassurance.
- Coordinatewith construction teams during installation commissioning and final projecthandover.
- Fosterand maintain strong relationships with clients consultants and contractors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorsdegree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- CET or ProfessionalEngineer (P.Eng) designation or equivalent is an asset.
- 2years of project management experience in commercial building mechanicalsystems.
- Proficientin project management software (e.g. MS Project Primavera)
- REVIT is mandatory
- Strongunderstanding of HVAC plumbing and fire protection systems design andimplementation.
- Familiaritywith local building codes standards and sustainable construction practices(e.g. LEED certification).
- Exceptionalorganizational problemsolving and communication skills.
- Provenability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- PMP orsimilar project management certification is an asset.
