Are you an ambitious and experienced Humanities Teacher ready to take the next step into leadership
We are looking for a Head of Humanities to join a wellregarded secondary school in Hounslow from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a dynamic department and drive excellence in Humanities education.
The Role of a Head of Humanities & Requirements:
- Lead and manage the Geography History and RE departments ensuring highquality teaching and learning.
- Develop and implement an engaging Humanities curriculum across KS3KS5.
- Support and mentor teachers within the department to raise attainment and student engagement.
- Monitor and track student progress ensuring strong outcomes.
- Hold QTS (or equivalent) with experience teaching at secondary level.
- Previous leadership experience is desirable but not essential.
- A passion for the Humanities and a commitment to academic excellence.
