Job Description
ROLE PURPOSE
Our Clients and Customers are at the heart of everything we do and working in a busy warehouse environment plays a key role in delivering a great service.
A warehouse operative needs to be a strong team player to adapt to a fastpaced environment with adjusting volumes and priorities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Role Specific:
Picking and packing
Accurately loading and unloading both inbound and outbound vehicles
Checking paperwork is completed correctly
Safely moving and correctly categorising customer items within the warehouse
Complying with all Health and Safety policies and procedures
Working as a team
Safely using ArrowXL technical equipment
Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment
Representing ArrowXL to the highest standard

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Experience Skills & Attributes:
- Experience working in a similar fastpaced operational environment
- A positive cando attitude
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Ability to prioritise Health and Safety for yourself and your colleagues
- Confidence to work with computer systems (specific system training will be provided)
- A reliable punctual and flexible approach
- Supportive of colleagues and able to escalate concerns to line managers when they arise
APPRENTICESHIP
The successful candidate will obtain a Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Apprenticeship standard qualification
This role profile is an overview of the remit of your job role responsibilities and accountabilities.
It may be changed from time to time to incorporate changing circumstances and you may be required to be flexible and perform other duties as required which may be at the same level as your home role or below.

WAGE AND HOURS
Hours: 30 hours contract over 4 days
Hourly rate: 7.55 per hour
Allowances: 10 for PM Shift and 20 for Night Shift
Overtime: Overtime and extra hours will be available during peak and busy periods and will be paid their standard hourly rate up to 40 hours.
