Are you an experienced firewall engineer with deep expertise in Palo Alto technologies and cybersecurity As a Senior Firewall Engineer at Arbella youll play a critical role in securing and optimizing our network infrastructure. Working within our cybersecurity team youll lead firewall initiatives to build and maintain a robust perimeter defense and collaborate on strategies that protect Arbellas digital assets.
This role involves handson work with Palo Alto firewalls focusing on advanced configurations incident response and policy enforcement. Your strategic insights and technical expertise will be essential in enhancing our security posture and mitigating threats effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Firewall Security:Configure manage and optimize Palo Alto firewalls to maintain secure network operations and defend against cyber threats.
Collaborative Security Strategy:Work closely with the cybersecurity team to design and implement firewall policies that align with Arbellas security objectives.
Incident Management and Response:Take the lead in analyzing and responding to firewallrelated security incidents ensuring swift and effective resolutions.
Documentation and Compliance:Maintain detailed documentation of firewall configurations policies and procedures to support compliance and operational continuity.
Mentorship and Development:Provide guidance and training to junior team members fostering best practices and knowledgesharing within the team.

Key Requirements:
A Bachelors degree in Information Systems Cybersecurity Computer Science or a related field.
5 years of experience in firewall engineering and network security.
Extensive handson experience with Palo Alto firewalls.
Palo Alto certifications (e.g. PCNSA PCNSE) are a plus.
Strong background in incident response network protocols and security analysis.
Proven leadership skills with a collaborative approach and a commitment to mentorship.
