We specialize in commercial (office retail industrial medical) and residential property management apartments for rent in Los Angeles and greater LA County and commercial real estate for lease. This combined with our professional property management services makes PMA one of the largest property management companies in Southern California.
Position Summary:
Seeking a Property Manager for multiple properties in Hawthorne CA. Includes a free 2bedroom apartment. All properties are located within a few miles of each other. Improve your worklife balance by reducing your travel time to and from work. Opportunity for advancement. Online and inperson training.
Compensation Includes:
- $19.00$21.00 per hour
- $300.00 Auto and $25.00 Phone Reimbursement
- Free apartment
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage monthly rent collection process and follow up on tenant delinquencies
- Daytoday operational management of all aspects of the property
- Supervise property staff and external vendors
- Daily communication with senior property management personnel and property owners.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable.
- Responsible for a positive and prompt response to requests from residents
- Perform daily/weekly comprehensive property walkthroughs paying particular attention to items on the Preventative Maintenance checklist.
- Conduct unit inspections including but not limited to movein and moveout.
- Develop and implement marketing ideas and strategies
- Heavily focus on leasing current vacancies and upcoming available units.
- Monitor the monthly financial budget
- Ensure compliance with housing laws rules and regulations
Requirements Include:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in conventional multifamily management with 150 units.
- Knowledge of property accounting such as Yardi
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency with computers including a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Oncall and 1 weekend day required
- A valid drivers license and evidence of auto insurance will
- A background DMV and PreEmployment Physical will be conducted as part of the hiring process
