Job Description
Location: 3921 College Road Holt MI 48842 Pay: $13.00 per hour Under the supervision of the SOF Manager and student crew leaders student farmers will perform the tasks necessary to run a diversified vegetable production. These responsibilities include but are not limited to greenhouse seeding cultivating harvesting transplanting direct seeding irrigating and pruning. Students will also have the opportunity to run our weekly CSA Distributions where we serve 100 members as part of our 15week Summer CSA and 100 members as part of our 5week Fall CSA . Student Farmers will also occasionally assist and interact with other educational programs and tours onsite. This is a summer position which will be 40 hours a week from May 5 2025 to August 18. 2025 with the potential to continue part time during the 2025 Fall Semester. Prior farming/gardening experience is not required.
Physical Demands
Lifting up to 25 pounds Applicants are expected to be physically capable as the job involves completing long stretches of strenuous labor in challenging working conditions.

Preferred Qualifications
Previous farming or gardening experience is not required. Possession of a valid Michigan vehicle operator license is helpful but not mandatory.
