Job Description
Ansible playbooks/roles Zero Trust Architecture Linux Red Hat System Configuration Python Bash Automation
Due to federal contract requirements United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph are required for the position.
Required:
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph
- This position is open to multiple levels of years of experience; two 02 years within the last five 05 years must be directly related to the job you are applying for.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Mathematics Applied Mathematics Machine Learning Data Science Computer Information Systems Engineering or related studies may be considered. MS/PhD degree may constitute for additional year experience equivalency . High school/GED or associates degree and additional experience clearly related to the position may be considered.
- Minimum eight 08 years of experience programming with objectoriented programming languages
- Minimum five 05 years of experience developing Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET environments OR minimum five 05 years of experience developing UNIX applications using make files or comparable build environments
- Minimum three 03 years leading projects that develops complex software ensuring a collaborative environment and configuration management.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Strong handson experience in writing optimizing and troubleshooting Ansible playbooks and roles.
- Familiarity with infrastructure automation concepts and best practices.
- Proficiency in Python Bash or other scripting languages used in automation.
- Knowledge of hardened automation techniques (e.g. vaulting secrets RBAC encrypted communications) and automating access controls/key management.
- Experience with Zero Trust Architectures and policybased network segmentation.
- Deep understanding of Linux (RHEL CentOS Ubuntu) and system configuration.
- Experience with project management best practices such as Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git) along with understanding of basic configuration management principles.
- Relevant certification like Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE).
$85000 $250000 a year
The pay range for this job with multilevels is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
