Located in the lovely Southern Suburbs of Cape Town my client seeks a talented Commercial (Sales) Analyst to join their forwardthinking team. In this role you will analyze sales and market data to develop strategic insights that drive promotional efforts and business decisions. Responsibilities:
- Assess sales data by examining the monthly quarterly and annual sales reports
- Collect analyse evaluate and report data to increase sales productivity
- Monitor and evaluate sales performance
- Assist management in developing and reviewing the sales budget and rolling sales forecast
- Coordinate the complete sales reporting and forecasting process for all sales channels
- Communicate sales reporting and sales forecasting to Senior Management
- Submit Weekly and Monthly direct sales reports as determined by the Head of Sales
- Regularly prepare reports and presentations for executives
- Prepare customer and partner business reviews when required by Head of Sales
- Manage and oversee the maintenance of asset management movement and monthly ROI
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop sales quotas and strategies
- Complete documents and gathering of required information of new customer listings
- Source sales data from Partners / Distributors / Customers as required on a bimonthly basis
- Oversee calculation and communication of monthly targets
- Source sales data from Distributors on a bimonthly basis
- Identify markets to target with marketing and promotional efforts
Requirements:
- BComm in Accounting or related qualification
- Minimum of 12 years experience in sales analysis in FMCG
- Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to convey complex information to a broad audience
- Excellent group presentation skills
- Excellent Excel skills and experience in BI tools for data analysis
