Job Description
Tustin Ranch Golf Club in Tustin California is seeking qualified candidates for their Banquet Team! The ideal candidate serves banquet function guests food and beverage items in a prompt professional and courteous manner while creating memorable experiences.
Compensation: $19.00$19.50 per hour plus tips.
Essential Duties:
- Assist with the complete setup and breakdown of the banquet area
- Relay food and beverage orders (if applicable)
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and awareness of sanitary practices both FOH & BOH
- Anticipate guests needs and exceed customer service expectations
- Maintain composure in a fastpaced environment
- Helping maintains clean and clear tables
- Relay important information about orders allergies and special requests to the appropriate person (if applicable)
- Respond urgently and appropriately with any concerns to the Event Manager
- Present in professional appearance and mannerisms
- Minimum of 1 year in the service industry
- Banquet experience preferred
- PartTime
- Morning afternoon & night shift opportunity available
- Weekends & holiday shifts available
- Flexible Schedule
- Performs other duties as required
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and training
Physical Demands:
- Frequently stands and walks; uses hands; reaches with arms and hands; stoops kneels crawls or crouches; talks or hears
- Occasionally sits; climbs or balances. Frequently lifts up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds
- Occasionally works in outdoor weather conditions
- Noise level is moderate
Certificates/Licenses:
- ServSafe Certified (Food & Alcohol) or TIPS equivalent
Job Knowledge Skill and Ability Preferences:
- Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or coworkers the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English)
- Meets state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
- Works well under pressure
- Maintains a patient considerate approach
- Responsible and trustworthy
- Strives to achieve guest satisfaction
