Job Description
The Department of Psychology at The University of Texas at Austin seeks to develop a pool of candidates for possible temporary/nontenure track clinical faculty positions. Clinical faculty positions will include clinical instruction (teaching) service research/scholarship or clinical practice depending upon the assignment. Positions are not available every semester and are contingent upon student enrollment and the availability of funding. Appointments are usually made on a semesterbysemester basis although a yearlong appointment can be made. Positions are renewable annually contingent upon funding and performance.
A Ph.D. degree in Psychology or related field is required. Candidates must be eligible for licensure or be a provisionally licensed psychologist. Demonstrated experience as both a clinician and a teacher are required.
