Assess & Evaluate Conduct client assessments to determine substance use and mental health needs
Create Personalized Treatment Plans Develop strategies tailored to individual recovery goals
Lead Group Sessions Provide evidencebased individual & group therapy
Crisis Intervention Support clients through urgent substance use or mental health challenges
Educate & Empower Facilitate sessions on addiction recovery and prevention strategies
Relapse Prevention & Coping Strategies Help clients build sustainable recovery plans
Coordinate Care Work with legal entities professionals and support groups to ensure the best care
Advocate for Clients Ensure they receive the support and resources they need
Bachelors Degree & Ohio LCDCIII Credential Required to practice in this role
Experience in Substance Use Disorder Treatment Prior work in addiction counseling is a plus
Group Therapy Experience Preferred but not required
Minimum of 1248 Patient Service Hours Annually 104/month)
Valid Ohio Drivers License & Reliable Transportation Must have an excellent driving record
Ability to Meet Credentialing Requirements Compliance with state and federal standards
Background & reference checks will be conducted. Preemployment drug testing required. Completing an application and interview does not guarantee employment.
