Our client a long-time local manufacturer is looking for a Chemical Batch Maker within their organization! Our client produces a variety of refinishing and repair products for automotive application.
Experience in a similar role is required. You must be able to lift 50 lbs read/write/understand English fluently and be able to wear a respirator when required (clean-shaven).
Salary:
$25.00 per hour (may be additional flexibility depending upon experience)
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Physically handling the transfer to bulk chemicals liquids solids and powder from pails bags or drums.
- Accurately measuring and calculating chemical additions.
- Ensure the completion of jobs while meeting quality and quantity requirements.
- Cleaning/rinsing mixer and tanks.
- Completion of all required paperwork records and documents etc.
- Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations including departments and housekeeping standards.
- Strict attention to detail at all times (following procedures documentation equipment usage chemical handling and storage.
- Ensure all equipment tools and work stations are in good working order and free of any safety hazards.

- Experience working in a chemical manufacturing environment is required.
- Must be able to read write and understand English fluently.
- Able to wear a respirator when required (clean-shaven) as you will be working with chemicals.
- Forklift license (reach and counter balance) is required.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
- Ability to work night-shift full-time 40 hours per week. (after training)
- Demonstrable work ethic and reliability.
