The position of HR Generalist is a skilled role responsible for providing daytoday HR support to specific branch leaders in addition to recruitment compliance training and serving as first pointofcontact within their region. This position will be based in Salt Lake City Utah.

Position Summary Responsibilities
Assisting Managers multiple branches with HR needs
Fullcycle recruitment and selection of office/management staff including job requisition posting sourcing candidate correspondence interviewing and communicating with hiring managers
Partner with HR Team on any transfers and/or relocations of employees to ensure standard processes are adhered to
Support with employee relations matters Immigration cases investigations and terminations
Partner with change management
Providing comprehensive onboarding to office/management staff including new hire orientation and document processing
Establish and maintain relationships with appropriate traderelated schools community organizations and utilize coop and internship programs and attend career/job fairs
Partner with HR Team to provide Training/Development to employees
Provide support to employees with questions and concerns with HR needs
Updating and followup of Performance Review Records
Ensure accurate HR procedures are followed regarding employee documentation retention
Provide employee communications on policy organization updates/changes
Other general administrative duties as assigned
Travel to branch locations as needed (approximately 2030
What We Are Seeking
Preferably bilingual fluent in English and Spanish (preferred but not required)
At least 5 years in a Human Resources role with 3 years in a HR Generalist role preferred
A Bachelors Degree in HR Business with HR emphasis or related education and/or equivalent work experience required
SPHR PHR SHRMSCP or SHRMCP certification preferred
Experience in the Construction or Manufacturing industry is a distinct asset
Proven ability to provide excellent written and verbal communication
Highly organized and strong ability to multitask
Ability to successfully implement new Human Resources policies and procedures
Strong MS office skills
Highly skilled in navigating and utilizing HRIS
Ability to work independently and in team environments taking full advantage of Shared Services Support and SelfStarter
Must have working knowledge of state and federal employment laws
