A fulltime Research Engineer position is available at the Athinoula A. Martinos center for Biomedical Imaging Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). We are seeking an experienced software engineer to work together with us in implementing advanced imaging sequences for neuroimaging. The position involves implementing imaging sequences in C programming language within the Siemens IDEA environment to be executed on the MRI console. The Martinos center currently operates 10 Siemens consoles including 2 PET/MRI systems and a small bore mouse microscope spanning a number of different software versions. We maintain a portfolio of about 50 novel or custom pulse sequences and their development and maintenance will be a key responsibility of the successful applicant.This position provides a valuable opportunity to work with leading researchers at the center to enable important emerging MRI technologies to be robustly implemented; creating a path for them to be use routinely for neuroscientific and clinical applications.

Field of Study: Electrical engineering computer science biomedical engineering or related studies is required
