Reporting to the Executive Director of Orthopaedics.
Responsible for managing the computer systems within the department and provides support on facility moves/changes.
Acts as the Department keygiver to systems.
Manages the Departments NonEmployee Process.
Manages the computer systems and network within the Department.Provides advice to physicians on both hard and software.
Prepares bids for purchases setup and maintains computer equipment; troubleshoots; is familiar with various software and spreadsheet applications.
Provides advice regarding the selection of Smartphone devices.
Communicates with Network Administration on an asneeded basis.
Acts as a resource person for issues with Information systems clinical and administrative systems.
Manages the setup and access to the Departments Shared Drives.Acts as a resource person for any problems with office business machines e.g. printers fax machines and copiers.
Manages the Departments NonEmployee process.
Manages special projects and coordinates operations issues for Department.
Redesigns lab space purchases equipment and makes capital budget requests for machinery furniture etc.; communicates with Departments Services to ensure smooth overall effectiveness of Department.
Acts as a resource person for employees requiring various materials/equipment.
Responsible for logistics of construction projects.
Plans moves for physicians; provides advice and seeks consult as necessary; makes arrangements for movers electricians etc.
Maintains equipment supply levels and the physical environment of the Department.
Ensures that repairs are completed in a timely manner; interfaces with
Purchasing/outside vendors and/or repair services to discuss and resolve problems; negotiates orders and repairs; maintains a working relationship with Environmental Services.
Conducts and assists in special projects as requested by management.
Experienced in Personal Computer networks Smartphone devices and applications and facility management.
Bachelors Degree requiredMinimum of three years of related experience
