Position Overview:
The Cafeteria Lead oversees the daily operations of the school cafeteria ensuring that meals are prepared served and distributed in compliance with nutritional health and safety standards. This role includes supervising kitchen staff managing food inventory and maintaining a positive and efficient cafeteria environment for students and staff.
Ensures that all food preparation and service is completed properly and timely
Serves food to students and staff
Washes instruments used in the preparation of the meals
Uses restaurant equipment
Follows standard recipes
Follows sanitation codes.
Hours: 8:30am 2pm
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; and talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger handle or feel objects tools or controls; reach with hands or arms; and stoop kneel crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision and depth perception.
